 Elizabeth Cross, artist, art historian, curator and writer, has traveled and exhibited widely, living for periods of time in Europe and London. In 2003 she was the recipient of an Asialink Fellowship which took her to China. She made drawings there for several months and returned to exhibit these in the Confucius Temple in Beijing. A recent solo exhibition of her work at the Drill Hall, ANU in Canberra showed 25 of her exquisite drawings. Elizabeth is also a profound presence on the Australian art scene as an Art Historian, Curator, writer and researcher. She has curated major survey exhibitions of significant Australian artists. Working as Guest curator at the National Gallery of Victoria, she curated the 2004 Edvard Munch ‘Frieze of Life’ exhibition. Later as Senior Researcher at the NGV she collaborated on numerous exhibitions and more recently with Regional galleries.
