David Hamilton is a contemporary artist based in Melbourne. Highly accomplished in both painting and drawing, his contemplative works distill a symbolic presence from his subject matter of landscape, portraiture and still life. David Hamilton graduated from RMIT University, Melbourne with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree (Honours) and later completed a Master of Art by Research in Painting also at RMIT University, Melbourne. He has exhibited widely in Victoria and NSW in Regional galleries, Commercial galleries and University
